Welcome to Wunderlich America!
We are the North American importer and distributor of Wunderlich parts and accessories. Our association with Wunderlich dates back to the year 2000, when we began importing and selling Wunderlich accessories while still the owners of BMW of Santa Cruz County. Since then, BMW introduced many new motorcycle models and Wunderlich has designed many hundreds of new accessories as a result.
If you are new to Wunderlich, we welcome and invite you to explore the many accessories that can open up fascinating possibilities for personalizing your BMW. We call it "Completing Your BMW". Wunderlich America maintains the world's largest inventory of Wunderlich accessories outside of Germany, with the majority of available accessories in stock. We receive several shipments from Wunderlich in Germany each month, so new parts are arriving all the time.
We hope that you enjoy your visit to our web site and should you have any questions about Wunderlich products, please feel free to contact us.
Team Wunderlich America
If you're in the area we encourage you to stop by our storefront in Watsonville, CA. We have a full showroom stocked with our most popular Wunderlich parts as well as BMW motorcycles that are fully loaded with Wunderlich. These bikes truely show off the unique styles of what we have to offer. In addition, our workshop shows off our latest project bikes that we're restoring and it's pretty typical to have an old classic beemer on the lift. Swing by to ask advice about parts, special installation advice or just to check things out! Our shop hours are Tuesday - Friday from 8AM - 4PM.
William Plam, Owner/Technical Specialist - My fascination with BMW began in 1981 when I bought a slightly used R80 G/S while living in Germany. This changed the course of my life, and I have been professionally involved with BMW for well over 30 years. Beginning as a technician, I eventually formed and owned a BMW dealership from 1985 through 2008. The first 10 or so years were spent mainly in the workshop but, as the business grew, so did my responsibilities, but my background and passion to this day is working on motorcycles. As the owner of Wunderlich America, I wear many hats; however, my primary function is technical support. Should you need assistance or advice with any of our products, I'm here to help you complete your BMW.
Marion Plam, Accounting - I was born and raised in a beautiful country which has lots more to offer than lederhosen, tasty sausages, schnitzel, sauerkraut and delicious beer in big bottles ... It's also the place where the best products for your BMW come from. That's where we come in - sourcing and importing thousands of items to make your riding and wrenching experience even better. And that's also where I come in - keeping things organized so that we can provide you with the best service possible.

Edward Plam, Sales Manager - I've been riding motorcycles my whole life. I first started riding BMWs when I was 15 1/2, and I never looked back. When I'm not selling parts, I enjoy weight training, restoring/customizing BMW motorcycles, and just about anything that involves me being in the workshop. If you're ever in the area, please stop by and see us and the cool projects we're working on.
Miguel Parra, Warehouse Manager - I've been a part of the Wunderlich team for over 12 years, and I enjoy what I do for a living. I take care of all of the operations that go on in the warehouse along with receiving all of our products that come in from Germany. I have a lot of experience with our products and love helping out our customers completing/restoring their BMW motorcycles. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. If you have any questions regarding your BMW motorcycle, please contact me with your inquiries.
Hans Plam, Warehouse Assistant - Fortunately there are school holidays and, whenever I have time, I help out at Wunderlich America. I especially like being part of driving around the country to MOA rallies, selling and introducing our products, and getting to know our customers and other states. I was three years old when I started riding a Yamaha PW 50, and I still enjoy off road riding in my spare time on my Yamaha WR250. The size of all my bikes changed while growing up, but my street bike has always been BMW. My first BMW was a 1997 F650; now I ride an R100 and, on occasions, one of the other bikes that we own - my favorites being the R1200 GS and the R nine T. Check out my senior football highlights on Hudl.
Francisco Gomez, Shipping - I have been part of the awesome Wunderlich America team for about two years as the warehouse shipper and receiver and enjoy my occupation. When I am not at work, I like to play basketball and football. I enjoy traveling to new places and spending time with family and friends.
Olin Ottem, Website Administrator - My expertise is in online business and marketing of technology. I graduated from San Francisco State University, earning a degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Electronic Commerce. My hobbies include running, cooking, and camping. When I'm not at work, you'll find me at the beach.
