If the front fender of the R1200 RT had been made just a few inches longer, (2.7” to be exact) it would have been very effective at deflecting road debris from the crossover pipe of the exhaust and the front of the engine. The reality is that it’s not and so, that’s where the Wunderlich Front Fender Extender comes in. This part fits perfectly and is made of thick, rigid ABS plastic. Installation takes only a few minutes and the front fender can remain in place during installation.

| Drops the fender just right to minimize road debris hitting the engine/header. Just wish the screws were black to conceal them more. |

| Great product for my R1200RT. Works and fits well. I did however choose to rivet it to the fender rather than use the included self tapping screws. |
