Front Extender Fender

The original mudguard is simply too short! The result is dirty headers and engine cases, clogged up oil coolers, damage to the radiator and unnecessary water splashing.

Wunderlich has a solution to the problem: an extension of the original mudguard, thermoformed from ABS black plastic. The fender extender is supplied complete with fastening screws and self-adhesive foam strips for a vibration-free and secure fit.

While the quality of the plastic appears to be OK, there is too little of it to truly do much good. That, combined with the price, which is excessive even for Wunderlich, lead me to give it only three stars. It would be a reasonable purchase at half the price.

I have been looking for this product. Purchased it and I also bought some additional high strength double back tape to use with the supplied tape. Get 3/4" 3M black. With some extra tape to eliminate worries the use of screws is eliminated. No one wants to put screws in their beautiful front fender. Give it overnight for the tape to set up and your good to go. It will not come off. I mean no, so get it on where you want it the first time.

The fit was perfect and there was no warping or issues. I used some additional 3M tape I happen to have which is super strong so there is no need to use screws on my perfect paint on the front of my S1000RR. Now the radiator is protected. Not long enough to protect the oil cooler.
