Black Side Cover Set

The GS features a big and unsightly gap in the middle that literally screams for a set of covers. Our design team managed to create a magnificent looking part that fits perfectly into the overall design of the 1200 GS. The gap between the front covers and the rear was bridged and the appearance of the bike from the side is more of a unit, with the lines being a continuation of the tank cover lines. This side cover set tastefully finishes off the appearance of your GS and makes it look complete. The left side cover even completely hides the ugly charcoal canister on US models.

Good looks are of course very important but this part has a very practical attribute as well: These covers can drastically reduce the amount of water splashed onto the legs of the rider in the rain. This effect is even better when installed in conjunction with our rear wheel splash guard. The attachment system is very strong and secure. Made of ABS plastic, the covers have a flawless finish and are ready to install or if desired, they can be painted. Available in silver or black. Everything needed is furnished, including easy to follow instructions. The silver plastic is coated with a high gloss layer that gives the panels a paint like quality. All can be painted, but special paint has to be used. Ask your local paint shop for details

Please Note:2004 through 2007 models use the same part. 2008 and later bikes were redesigned in this area and this required the development of a new part. We have a set for bike with ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) and without ESA. Please choose the correct version for your bike. Please Note: If your bike has BMW Adventure cases (aluminum) or some other aftermarket luggage, you may need to modify these covers to fit.
