This precision temperature gauge replaces the original oil filler plug and lets you keep an eye on the important motor oil temperature. To keep the needle steady, the instrument is filled with a damping fluid and the air bubble left is to allow heat expansion. The gauge provides a very accurate reading and the popular German motorcycle magazine “Tourenfahrer” test results say: “...The accuracy is very good…and the gauge is definitely worth it’s cost”. The outer ring provides a solid grip and makes installation and removal easy. The built in dip stick allows fast checking of the oil level. The gauges are 50 mm in diameter and are available in these four colors. This large diameter gauge is super easy to read and besides that, a real ‘eye catcher’ !

Nice replacement cap! |
| This temp guage works great! I was taking pretty short commutes and not getting my engine up to optimum operating temperature. That was causing a little water build up in my oil tank. Now I can keep an eye on the temp guage and I know cruising that extra mile will get my temp up and it will be very interesting to keep an eye on it during the hot summer. The numbers are easily visible and it's Wunderlich so you know it's quality workmanship. |
