I originally purchased a pair of ROX risers that insert in the existing bar location and raise the bars up around an inch. I swapped them out when I installed a GPS holder that didn't allow the ROX risers to still fit. These bar risers work fine, and look better, in my opinion than the ROX. They look factory installed. Tight quarters for the install, just be sure to use a towel or something to protect the bike as you lay the bars down and remove/reinstall the existing mounts. And be sure to keep your tools within arms reach, including the odd 16mm socket it takes to hold the nut underneath the triple tree.

20mm is a big improvement. It's the perfect height now for better comfort and much better control which is kinda hard to believe as the BMW F 700 GS out handles everything in tight twisty roads, standing up is much improved, I'm 6'3. You could go higher but it will dramatically change the steering to be more twitchy. My F7 out handles my 2015 S1000RR even better now in the super tight mountain roads.. Love this product, fit is perfect and you just can't beat the quaility. Awesome cheap mod, just take your time doing it getting it all aligned and make sure the rubber gromets underneath don't fall out. Oh and don't cut your GPS cable in half while tightening the bars back up with the curved washer underneath the triple tree. yeah lol. love this product.

be ready to spend little time getting the handlebar clamps off and risers properly installed. Space is tight, and getting the right allen and socket wrench is essential. Once on it added a lot specially with my low seat, an addition worth the effort

Much better ergonomics

Less stress on my shoulders and neck with more upright and relaxed position. Brought bars up and back so I'm not leaned forward. I'm about 5'9" with avg reach, but found stock F700 had me leaning forward and had to bend my neck up. This is more natural riding position.

The risers were easy to install, and provided very nice ergonomic improvement for me. (I\'d recommend looking at the Wunderlich footpegs, too - they lower the foot position slightly w/o decreasing ground clearance.) The combination allows confident stand-up riding. The only thing I\'d change is the top chamfer of the risers - their fit was not 100% \"snug\" in the base of the stock handlebar clamps, but they tightened down to torque-spec just fine.

Product as advertised. Easy install. Only improvement I\'d like to see is the replacement bolt head match the same type as what is on the stock bike (Star, not Hex). One less tool to worry about.
