Micro-Flooter Set

Additional lights are gathering more and more fans, the main reason is safety- “See and be seen”. Properly mounted and adjusted (to avoid blinding oncoming traffic…) they will greatly enhance night vision in every weather condition compared to the sometimes poor original lights. They are best when used in conjunction with the “low” beam (not legal in every country, please check!!). Additionally, when switched on during the day, these lights will make you more visible in traffic; a huge gain in passive safety.

The Micro-Flooter light has a compact square shaped black metal body. Our tests showed that its high tech projector technique (uses a 55 watt H3 bulb) produces a powerful light despite the smaller than most size. It produces a soft-light transition at the edge of the light beam, and illuminates the road sides almost like a cornering light (helps to avoid wildlife jumping out of bushes at night).

This set was originally designed to fit the R1100 RT but also fits the 1150 RT. The 1150 RT however, already has two originally fitted fog lamps. In Germany using more than 2 fog lamps is not permitted. Check regulations in your country before installing. These lights are fitted in a non obtrusive manner underneath the oil cooler, tucked inside of the fairing panels. The set is sold as a set of two lamps including two 55 W bulbs, wiring harness, relay, Wunderlich designed brackets and complete fitting kit with detailed installation instructions.
