This precision temperature gauge replaces the original oil filler plug and lets you keep an eye on the important motor oil temperature. To keep the needle steady, the instrument is filled with a damping fluid and the air bubble left is to allow heat expansion. The gauge provides a very accurate reading in Celsius and the popular German motorcycle magazine “Tourenfahrer” test results say: “...The accuracy is very good…and the gauge is definitely worth it’s cost”. | I bought this for my 2012 BMW G 650 GS and I really like it. Looks sharp and gives me a nice reading on my oil temp. |
Good addition |
| Keeping an eye on oil temperature is critical, and I do not like that for such a fine machine my 2005 F650GS only have an "idiot light" indicator. This gauge fits perfectly, is good looking, has no cheap plastic and is extremely practical and easy to read. One should note that the temperature is in Celsius. |
