Finally, you no longer have to break your fingers when adjusting the setting of the original shock. The adjuster can be pulled out by 25 mm (~1’’), making it much easier to operate. Now you can get hold of it and turn it with your whole hand – the result is optimum force transmission.

In addition to its functionality, the GS benefits from another unique and valuable component that can’t be found on any other motorcycle.

The adjuster is precision machined of aluminium, the internal ball and spring mechanism ensures the adjuster is easy to pull/push into position.

Shock adjuster

Reviewed by Mark Saunders from Santa Barbara , Ca (5.10.2012)

I now adjust my shock tension more often because it is so much more convenient. With and without passenger. With and without gear. Only comment... I wish it tucked back in maybe another 1/2 - 3/4 inch

Makes Adjustments Easy on your Hands

Reviewed by Jim Howard from Aloha, OR (1.16.2012)

Because I frequently change from riding alone - or with my wife - I need to frequently change the rear spring pre-load on my F650 GS(Twin). The factory knob can be difficult to use - resulting in scraped knuckles - or annoying, due to the need to find the darn tool under the seat. This replacement knob solves that problem completely, making pre-load adjustments quick and easy. One thing could be improved: the instructions should alert the installer that the OEM knob is fastened using a screw with LockTite, and that heat should be carefully applied to loosen the original screw. Once heated, the removal of the old knob and installation of the Wonderlich replacement was easy.
