These plastic gaiters (boots) protect the fork stanchions from damage and corrosion caused by airborne debris and stones. As a result the fork seals and fork surfaces will last longer. Special air vents prevent inflation with fork movement. Installation requires fork tube removal but is straight forward.

Great product |
| Bit expensive, but when it fits with the wright lenght & diamensions and no time at all, what expense . |
Not very good |
| While these are the only gaiters that seem to be available for the F650GS, they are far from ideal. Basically, there are too many pleats and they are too long. They bunch up and buckle under compression. The air vents are at the bottom, and wind up being stretched over the lower fork leg, causing an airlock inside the gaiter. Also not mentioned is that the front fender will require trimming or cause further bunching on the fork leg. Regardless of how they are positioned on assembly, they wind up being distorted and uneven through use. |
