Frame Protector Set

This was among the first of many parts that Wunderlich designed for the HP2! After a relatively short and harmless off-road test ride, Wunderlich’s off-road racer Dirk, complained that his boots were constantly getting caught on the frame, not to mention the paint damage. Constant chafing of the frame with boots (especially heavy motocross boots) will damage the paint, reduce the value of the bike and even reduce the wall thickness of the frame tube. The first prototype part was made of metal and it damaged the rider’s boots, and caused even more damage to the frame. Therefore, Wunderlich designed a light and strong plastic protector that follows the frame tube like a second skin and provides a solution for this particular problem. Check out these features:

This part has proven itself during extensive race and road testing. Two versions are available: A silver thermoformed ABS plastic in silver color with a paint-like surface or the professional edition in a black colored, very abrasion resistant .fiber reinforced hybrid plastic material. A must for any serious off-road rider who wants to protect the frame.
