Universal Auxiliary Light Harness

If you want to devise a custom auxiliary light installation on your bike, this wiring harness can make the task much easier and cleaner. Similarly, some aftermarket auxiliary light kits are supplied with not much more than a spool of wire and a bag of connectors, leaving you to build your own harness and unless you have the proper tools and supplies, the result can often leave a lot to be desired.

This is a straight forward, high quality wiring harness that can be used on just about any motorcycle. It can probably be used just as it is for most applications but even if you need to modify it to suit your particular application, you will find that this part provides you with the essential components in a compact and efficient format. This will save you the trouble of sourcing all of the individual parts, wire, tubing, connectors, etc. which can usually only be purchased in bulk quantities, more than you need.

We use a top quality Hella Relay with an integrated mounting tab, so you can attach the relay in the appropriate spot with a screw or zip tie. The power lead that connects to the battery has a built-in fuse holder with a 15 amp fuse. The switch is also a Hella part and it is illuminated when the lights are switched on and the switch lead is detachable via a three pole connector for easier installation. The wires that connect to the lights are also detachable for easy servicing of the lights and they also feature a ˝” grommet and 6mm female spade connectors, ideal for attaching to for example H3 light bulbs.
