Your LT can really benefit from the addition of this side stand plate because asphalt or soft ground can cause an unstable situation when parking on the side stand, especially when the bike is heavily laden. This Wunderlich part improves the situation by increasing the surface area of your side stand foot. It is designed to fit the shape of the original side stand perfectly and it's easy to install and that makes this accessory a sensible improvement for your BMW. When installing, apply a drop or two of Loctite or similar thread locking fluid to the retaining screws to ensure that they do not loosen and fall out. (available under the Related Products tab)

Excellent Amendment For Kickstand

Beautifully machined, easy to install. Be sure to apply 'Locktite'or a similar product to insure that screw do not loosen and occasionally check for tightness (or it can fall off-it happened to me).
