Footpeg Lowering Kit from 8/06

The original riding position is not universally comfortable for all riders. With our extensive “Ergo” program such as adjustable risers, levers and lower footrests we are providing the components for each rider to “fine-tune” the riding position to his or her own personal needs.

This kit will move the rider’s footrests down about 40 mm (1-1/2”). The change in footrest position will increase the knee and hip angle, that can make all the difference during those long trips. Better blood circulation and less cramps will make a full tank ride much more enjoyable.

The kit is made of silver anodized CNC machined high quality aluminum and comes with all components needed for an easy installation. There are no modifications for the bike needed, normal function is retained and the original luggage system can be used as before.

Important Fitment Information There are two versions of this part. This part fits the K1300 GT and K1200 GT models with Integral ABS 2, production date after 09/2006.

If your bike is equipped with Integral ABS 1, and your bike was built before 09/2006, you will need part number 8162509, available under the Related Products tab.

Note: Fitting any footrest lowering kit may cause reduced cornering clearance. Please ride accordingly!
