Floating Disc System
These brake discs contain all the advantages and properties of the ALIEN discs. Additionally, the “floating” attachment method, whereby the disc is not rigidly connected to the hub, has several advantages compared to rigidly mounted discs.

• Improved thermal stability. The floating disc has a more uniform temperature which considerably reduces disc warping and reduces stresses. The uniform heat also means uniform thickness of the disc, which means the contact to the pads is better and has more efficient braking action.
• Reduced vibration when braking, vibration not transmitted to bike.
• Brake disc is always ideally aligned, reduced brake “pulsing”.

This disc is an evolution of the Alien disc, it combines perfect braking action with a unique and striking appearance. ABE approved.

Please Note: When changing discs it is strongly recommended to change the brake pads as well. Also, make sure to fit and secure the disc bolts with thread locking fluid! For the rear we recommend the use of the regular ALIEN disc.
