Metric Drill Bit Sets

All of the fasteners on your motorcycle, and possibly many other machines that you own are metric. Having a set of metric drill bits really comes in handy and it takes the guess work out of determining which fractional or number drill you need to drill the correct size hole for a metric bolt.

Metric drill bits are not commonly available in North America and in general, truly professional quality drill bits can be hard to find. These drill bits are made by Dormer, a leading international supplier of cutting bits of all kinds to machine shops, factories and fabricators. Professionals count on precision and reliability, and it does not make sense to use anything but the best available. These drill bits will outperform and outlast those that you will find at the retail level, plus being metric, you will no longer need to convert or find the closest match when a project calls for a hole specified in millimeters.

We offer three sets of metric drill bits:

• Set 413: 13 Pieces; 1.5mm to 6.5mm in 0.5mm increments

• Set 419: 19 Pieces; 1.0mm to 10.0mm in 0.5mm increments

• Set 204: 25 Pieces; 1.0mm to 13.0 mm in 0.5mm increments

Sets 413 and 419 are supplied in a handy tube index. Simply rotate the cap to line up the desired bit, turn the tube upside-down and just that bit falls into your hand and the rest stay put.

Set 204 is supplied in a high impact plastic case with a locking tab. When opened, the bits stand up and the action is much smoother than the typical metal drill indexes that you may have used before.

All bits from 4mm and larger are clearly marked for easy identification.
