Ergo Screen

This screen is an improved version of our popular Touring Screen. The screen is now a massive 50 cm tall, wider at the lower part and the shape has also been improved. The load on shoulders and upper body are further reduced as well as turbulence. The classic flowing shape has been retained and beautifully integrates with the bikes styling. The screen can be adjusted further back than the original GS screen, directing the air flow more efficiently. It is made of 5 mm clear material and has virtually no distortion. A further improvement is the use of two steel brackets. These are fitted between the inner sides of the screen to the main faring mount. This ensures the screen does not vibrate, with the added benefit of strengthening the whole instrument panel. In our opinion, this is our best screen for the GS + Adventure.

Adventure Owners, please note:As with all1150 GS screens, this screen can be fitted to the R1150 GS Adventure. However, Adventure riders will need the following parts, available from your BMW Motorcycle dealer:

Additionally, Adventure owners need either 2 X 46 63 7 653 686 or a set of our screen adjuster bolts, part number 8166038, available under the Related Products tab.

One more important detail: When changing your screen, whether your bike is an R1150 GS or an Adventure, you’ll need a T9 Torx wrench. This is not part of your BMW tool kit. If you don’t already have one in your tool box, you should also order one under the Related Products tab.
