Extenda Fender Rear

The splash guard hugging the rear wheel is effective at reducing dust and water spray but many GS owners would rather do without it for one reason or another. The problem however is that without the splash guard installed, all that’s left is your license plate and dirt, rain and other debris is thrown up onto your luggage, the back or the passenger and even the back of the rider.

This adjustable enlarger closes the gap between the license plate and the rear wheel. It can be moved up and down to find the best fit, depending on your plate size or plate frame size and preference. The unique shape is designed for maximum deflection of water and debris. There’s a machined recess where you can place the included Boxer emblem or, if you’d rather, you can attach an Original BMW emblem instead. (available from your BMW Dealer under Part Number 51 14 2 308 800).

Please Note: If your bike has a license plate holder with red reflectors attached, you may run into some trouble when installing this part. Some versions of the bracket used by BMW that incorporate the red reflectors will cause interference. In such cases we recommend that you also purchase our License Plate Bracket, part number 4600050.
