Our evergreen classic for optimum protection of the sensitive sliders and fork oil seals. Dirt and fly squash quickly lead to wear of the stanchions and sliders.
In the original, the fork also just seems too long. The gaiters make the forks look shorter and sturdier as well as closing the unfortunate looking gap between the forks and headlights.

Looking GREAT |
| I had some rust on my forks, and I live by the ocean. Took the rust off, and put the gaiters on, fit and look nice. Instead of the plumber's clamps, I use black zip-ties so the metal doesn't stick out visualy. Exactly what I needed, and I think what MOST R series could use to make look better. |
Another Quality Product |
| The Gaiter\'s are a quality product, they are made of rubber not plastic like a lot of the cheap fork boots. Should be helpful when riding in dusty or wet conditions. One note on the installation on the R1150R, the instructions did not mention removing the rubber cap from the top of the fork legs before installing the gaiter\'s. Otherwise instructions were good. Require\'s a 22mm open end wrench or a adjustable wrench to hold the slider when removing the 14mm top nut. |
