After stripping the wire, place the connector end into one of the four different sized openings, position the wire and compress the tool. The jaws roll the connector into the ideal shape, crimping around the exposed wire and also around the insulation for a solid bond. No need to solder and those ugly plastic sleeves like you see on most commonly available connectors are a thing of the past.

The tool ratchets as it closes, allowing you to ensure perfect alignment and after it is completely closed and the crimp is complete, the ratcheting mechanism automatically releases.
