Silencer Lowering Adapter up to 2009

This part will allow you to lower the exhaust and thus enable you to install a full size bag on the left or, enable you to have your bags mounted symmetrically.

The raised exhaust may look cool, and particularly without panniers, it does however present some disadvantages when outfitting your bike for long tours. This part works with the stock exhaust and also with Remus exhaust. Other aftermarket systems may require some minor modification.

This part was designed to work in conjunction with our symmetrical luggage carrier (available under the Related Products tab), which is needed because the left side carrier provides support for the muffler. This lowering kit may also be ideal for other custom applications.

Please Note: If you bike was produced before model year 2006, there will be no effective center stand stop with this part installed.
