For the Carbon Fiber Fans out there: This version of the MultiPod is dimensionally the same as the all aluminum MultiPod but it’s made of Aluminum and Carbon Fiber bonded together. Especially if your bike has been tricked out with other Carbon bits, this one is something to consider.

The Wunderlich MultiPod is an extremely versatile and robust attachment system for a multitude of electronic devices. The MultiPod’s revolutionary adjustment range allows you to easily place an electronic device in the optimal field of view location. We offer two basic versions: the long and short MultiPod. The long version articulates at both ends, while the short version only articulates at one end. There are multitudes of optional attachment brackets available, allowing fitment of the MultiPod to virtually any motorcycle.

This version of the MultiPod is designed to accommodate a Garmin Zumo or TomTom Rider (I or II) without the need for any further adapter. When mounting a TomTom Rider, for added security and stability, we suggest that you also purchase the Extreme Bracket, available under the Related Products tab. For more detailed information about the MultiPod system and all of the available accessories, please download the instruction instructions and additional information brochure. (links above) If your application requires something even more basic, check out the MultiPod "plain", by following the link under the Related Products tab.

Limitless adjustability:
• Either ball joint can be adjusted independently of the other.
• Both ball joints turn 360° and pivot 180° from any point.
• Fine adjustments are possible throughout the range.
• A wide variety of mounting accessories are available.

Vibration-Free:
Soft, Silent Block mounts effectively filter out vibrations, protecting even delicate devices from shock.

Easy installation :
The MultiPod can be attached where there is an existing 8mm bolt or to one of the available adapters. When attaching to an existing bolt, simply remove and measure the bolt from the bottom of the head to the tip. You will need a bolt that is 20mm longer than the one you removed. (bolts are available under the Related Items tab) If you also are installing a spacer or bushing, you’ll need to add that dimension to the 20mm as well.

The ball joint heads are hollow and are designed to accept an 8mm Allen bolt. Simply remove one ball joint and attach the MultiPod to the position of your choice using the longer bolt. Once the ball joint has been attached to your bike and has been tightened, the MultiPod can be re-attached. Almost anywhere you can find an 8mm bolt on your bike, you’ll be able to attach the MultiPod. If you have any questions about fitment, please do not hesitate to contact Tech Support (Tab above)

MultiPod does it\'s job well

Reviewed by John Patterson from Centennial, CO (7.16.2012)

I installed the carbon multipod on my new R1200GS despite the signal negative review. Much to my delight it has functioned very well with on caveat: as the previous reviewer mentioned the best thing to do is purchase the wing nut kit sold on Wunderlich and use all wing nuts for the multipod. The multipod comes stock with wing nuts on one side oppossed my small set screws on the other - it works by having the oppossing pressure on each side to lock the multipod in place - - it is much easier to use after replacing the set screws with the wing nut kit. I have had both a Garmin Zumo 450 and the slightly lighter new Garmin Zumo 350 installed on my Multipod - - the holes on the round mounting bracket line up well for the new Zumo 350 - I just used the narrower taller holes for the Zumo 350. I have ridden thousands of miles including some very rough rocky terrain with the GPS in the Multipod and it didn\'t budge at all, and the unlimited mounting angles the Multipod allows is fantastic.

Comes loose easily

Reviewed by D Man from Waukesha , WI (9.27.2011)

This item has a complicated relationship between the visible thumb screws and "not seen until purchased allen set screws". Came loose and fell apart in 1 hour of riding. Replace all thumb screws with allen set screws or replace all allens with thumb screws. Could be better for this price, would not recommend to a friend.
