This is the solution to getting at those hard to reach valve stems. Just screw it onto the valve stem and any air hose will fit easily. Note: This piece is designed for convenience use only. It will simplify checking and changing the tire air pressure.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not operate your vehicle with this piece installed as doing so may cause valve stem failure. This failure may cause loss of control of the vehicle.

Bad 90 DEG Valve Stem adapter

I select this item to make it easier to adjust the tire pressure on my BMW R1200RT rear wheel, however the 90° Valve Stem Adapter I received leaked air when screwed on my valve stem. I sent it back with a note and asked for an exchange. The second one I received had the same issue. Not good!

Absolute necessity

However, like the other reviewer, I will probably ask my service guy to install a different valve stem when I get new tires. This is the second one I have purchased -- the reason I gave it four stars was because when unscrewing the last one after use I dropped it about six inches to the ground and it deformed the soft brass end enough to make it useless, so combination user error and soft material combined to force me to buy a new one. I would use a harder material in the future, unless the point is to sell a lot of these.

mandatory intermittent fix when rear wheel(GT) stem makes a straight shot inaccessible. next tire change will have bent valved stem permanently installed.
