Stuff Bay Cover

The F 650 CS has a multi functional "Stuff Bay" where normally the tank would be. As not everyone uses this to store a helmet or a music system we have come up with a cover that fits over the compartment. The Bay Cover is made of plastic and reinforced for rigidity. The silver plastic has a high gloss top layer with a top quality painted-look finish (paintable as well). A tank cap-like black lock allows small items to be stored inside the compartment, and the CS looks more like a "normal" bike.

I followed the instructions. Everything went into place. I did have to remove the rubber piece at the front of the stuff bay. A non-destructive removal. The cover locks and works perfectly. I removed the saddle bags since I have enough rooms for the basics--gloves, GPS, phone and charger cables, cable lock for helmet. Even a leak-proof travel mug fits in there with everything else. Very pleased with the cover.

Purchased this at the Salem BMW Rally, shipped to my home, clear instructions, daughter loves it. Finally a convenient place to keep registration and insurance card. I attached a clear envelope to the underside to keep the paper out of the way and protected. Great price too for a nice upgrade.

Stuff Bay Cover 2005 F 650 CS

Perfect fit after removing the rubber piece from the top of the stuff bay. No tools required or need to remove any trim or screws from the bike, just pull it out. Otherwise the cover latch will not close properly. Included along with the screws to attach the latch to the cover (keys are included)is rubber stripping that goes around the edges on the under side of the cover (pictured on installation instructions). This will seal out water. As soon as my girlfriend looked at the bike with the cover installed, she commented how much better the bike looks with it on. I also removed the rails and installed the cap set. Yes, the Stuff Bay was a unique idea and a nice holder for your helmet but with the Stuff Bay Cover and rails removed, the bike looks a lot better. In addition, you now have a place to lock a couple small items. Also, if your CS happens to be Titan Silver like mine, the cover will be a perfect match and look like it came with the bike. 100% satisfied with the appearance of the product and with Wunderlich customer service!
