I previously had a BMW OEM low seat.
I bought the original Wunderlich low seat for my BMW F750GS, and it was ok, but a really loose fit. I could move the front up and down 1/4".
I returned it for the new "Aktivcomfort" low seat, in hopes it would fit better, and this seat as well, has a front latch peg that is too long for the length of the front bumpers. I did like the look of the seat, and it is definitely more comfortable, so I amended the bike.
I have 29" legs, and did not want the seat any higher, so did not lengthen the rubber bumpers. Instead... I got some 1/8" "shroud covers" from West Marine, and cut a 1" length of it. This was slipped over the SS mount/latch bar on the bike, to lower it a bit, making a satisfactory fit.
This design flaw needs to be addressed at the factory, but my retrofit works.
Jeff @ Wunderlich America was very helpful with my original return, and helping me confirm that I got the correct seat.
This seems like the best aftermarket seat, once this loose fit issue is dealt with. The seat is a little taller (1/4" or so) than the OEM low seat, and I can not quite flat foot the bike with it, but this gets me close to Earth.
The comfort for the passenger is WAY better, and both are ergonomically correct.
If you are willing to fiddle with it, I recommend the seat.
