    | June 28th, 2019
raised the bars just enough to take some weight off of wrists and still allow some lean forward

    Nice product. (2016 F800GT)

Like some others, I found the installation instruction "pictographs" to be rather hard to decipher. Since the right brake caliper hydraulic line MUST be moved in order for the brake line to not be too short, it is imperative that the line be relocated like they show. However, figuring out how to do it is a bit puzzling until you take the brake line mount off and see that it's two pieces, not one. Then it's fairly easy. Also, if you look closely at the handlebar, you'll see that it has little crosses stamped on it to aid with re-aligning the bar in the clamps and the brake lever. The original positions seem OK for me at 5' 10". You may want to play with these a bit. You wouldn't think that 20mm would be all that much, but it does make a subtle difference that really doesn't show itself until you've ridden for about an hour or so. I've also got the Wunderlich air deflector on the top of my windshield, but I did not have to change anything with that even with the slightly different riding position. It appears that the 20mm rise is about the most you would be able to do with this bike, and not have to put longer brake lines, wires etc. Even with the brake line relocation, it still seems pretty tight with the bike on the center stand and the forks fully extended. So, is it worth it? Yes, I think in the long run you will notice subtle differences in fatigue level, neck strain, etc. Very nicely made product, and very high quality that should last the life of your bike. Just needs better instructions!!

    Good Product
    | February 1st, 2017
For reference I am 6'1". A quality product nicely finished. The rise is just right getting me a more upright but still keeping a slight forward lean. On my GT there did not appear to be enough space to pass the brake caliper up and over as shown. The brake line was tightly wrapped to electrical lines. We cut the tie wrap and rolled the brake reservoir forward a bit. This gave enough slack to use the provided bracket. All else very straight forward.
    No problems

Received in a timely manner. Well made. Instructions were puzzling but correct. No bleeding of brakes required. Looks good and raises bars as advertised, but did not make a large enough improvement for me.
    Just rite

    More than you Think!

I purchased these risers because I needed more bar height but did not want to replace brake lines or throttle cable. 20mm sounded like very little but feels like a completed different bike. The bar comes up 20mm and back about 10mm because of the geometry of the front end. There is some rerouting necessary but the brake system does not need to be opened or bleed, decent instructions with good photographs.
    Great item

This item is beautifully finished, and does exactly what it is advertised to do. Note that when it is installed on an F800GT, there is a bit of extra work, which isn't advertised. You must remove the reservoir from the handlebar, and remove the right caliper (not completely from the bike, just unbolt). Then reroute the caliper up and over the other brake line, and reinstall. Then reinstall brake lines up and over approximately an inch, with the supplied bracket. This IS clearly detailed in the supplied directions, but not advertised anywhere. Still an easy install.
