Description
Vario-Ergo Handle Bar Riser
This complete kit will allow you to raise the handlebars on your K1200GT up to approximately 2 inches and offers adjustability over a ¾" range, allowing you to find an ideal spot.
Note: In some cases, when the bars are adjusted in the tallest possible position, the brake line may be too tight. Because of manufacturing tolerances, the replacement of the brake line may not be necessary and if at all, it will only be necessary in the highest position.
We offer a 3cm longer brake line under part number 1978503, available under the Related Products. If you order a brake line and determine that you do not need it, you can return it for a refund.

This product certainly provides a more comfortable riding position, especially if you are a tall person and have your seat in the raised slot. A word of caution, do not attempt the brake pipe replacement yourself. Whilst bleeding the brakes is not the issue, bleeding the ABS system is a challenge. I also found that the accelarator cable needed rerouting when using the highest setting on the risers. However the result is worth the effort,
