Description
Bar Risers, 35mm
These Wunderlich handlebar risers can offer a great increase in comfort, especially for taller riders. They really make a significant difference when riding off road and standing on the pegs because the rider can stand up straighter. This results in better control and reduced fatigue. No modifications or longer lines are needed.
There are 25 mm and 35 mm to choose from. Plus, you can choose between two versions of each these depending on whether your bike has the BMW Navigator installed or not.
The Navigator version is supplied with special bolts that are drilled and tapped to allow the fitment of the Navigator bracket to the handlebar clamps. The standard version is supplied with regular allen bolts.
Important fitment note: These risers are 20 mm and 40 mm for R1200 and Adventure models up to 2007. For 2008 and later models, please follow the links under the Related Products. Be sure to also check out our Vario risers!

I'd forgotten I'd had aftermarket bar-back and up style bar risers on the R1200GS the last 8 years. Those had come with their own upper clamps. No way would those upper clamps work with the Wunderich 35mm risers, and certainly not with the Quick-Adjusts, either. Back to the stored bags of 'take-offs' from the original farkeling frenzy and I recover the OEM clamps and it works as intended!

These things are solid and great. I was so excited to put them on that I skimmed the directions and missed the line that says "make sure they are both facing the same way." They need to be. I stripped threads on the left side badly and I had to get a tap and die to fix it. Since I am taller they save my back.
