Excellent quality and fit

I waited a couple months for these and they were worth the wait!!! I have the red frame on my R1200RS and they matched perfectly. Install was easy especially because they have a video.

Sport Bars for 2016 R1200RS

Bought these bars vs a cheaper bulkier crash bar. Didn't want the GS look. Already had BMW slider cylinder caps and wanted to leave them on if possible. Took a bit of 'fudging' but they look great and can also leave lower plastic spoilers in place. Wasn't able to put the cylinder head screw in however the bars are very snug to 'caps' anyway. Watch video as others have said as it helps with making sense of the instructions provided. Extremely happy with the look - hopefully never have to test the strength!

Sport Engine Bars

Installed on 2016 R1200RS. To plagiarize the last review.."These bars look like they came with the motorcycle. Sleek and unobtrusive". Install was easy and pretty straight forward. Only recommendation I have is to watch the video first. Don't just rely on the included instructions. The video is really good and he even tells you the torx bits you will need. I had to buy a set of 3/8 drive torx sockets that included T45 and T50 but well worth the $20 investment. Bottom line: Watch the video first and get yourself a Torx socket set if you don't already have one. It really will only take you a few minutes as the fit is perfect.

Sport Engine Bars for R1200RS

These bars look like they came with the motorcycle. Sleek and unobtrusive indeed. Black blends into frame color perfectly. They were easy to install. They came with two sizes of spacers for the front lower mount point. My RS required the shorter one (18mm). I am very happy with these protection bars. Highly recommended. They complete my BMW!

R1200GS Sport bars

5 stars, excellent product! Installation was very easy and they look great!! I added the black sport bars to our GS which has a silver engine. They blend in to the black frame and trim perfectly. I highly recommended these for street and mild trail use.

Very well made and easy to install. It does not require removal for maintenance like the Evotech, and works with the lower spoiler. Very nice!
