The BMW adjustable windscreens are just too good at creating a quiet, still pocket behind them for the rider. Not what you need when the temperature is regularly over 100. Simple to install and absolutely brilliant for the 4-5 months of peak hot weather we get in Arizona. After you’ve put it on your bike once, you know how to swap it back in 5 minutes if you’re hitting the higher or cooler elevations, or going on a more temperate road tour, but for summer riding in the Southwest, this is the trick. While re-directing a percentage of air over you, it allows you to actually get cooling air through your shirt/protection/helmet! I was cool first thing this morning when it was 85 degrees, and still comfortable riding back at 100. Plus, it looks good…with a dirt riding vibe. Of course, you’ll experience a little more wind noise and buffeting, but you’re out riding…and you’re riding cool…so who cares!
