Lifting the motorcycle onto the center stand can be a chore when the bike is fully loaded. The Wunderlich center stand lifting handle makes this task much easier. The hinged handle installs with an allen wrench and stays securely in place. Pull the handle out to lift the bike onto the stand and tuck it away when it is not needed.

Note: Some models have a welded bracket between the passenger footpeg mounting points and some do not. This bracket serves as a stop to prevent the lifting handle from rotating when used. The handle is supplied with an anchor bracket that can be easily installed on those models that do not have the welded bracket. If your bike does have the welded bracket, then you do not need to use the supplied anchor bracket.

High Quality Build

Had one of these on my 09 GS and it worked great. I got a new 2019 and thought Id get another one. The price has increased big time and the mounting point a bit less useful that on my 09. But still better than nothing, helps get the big girl on her center-stand. I attempted to get in contact with Wunderlich customer service via phone (No answer) and also by email last week to ask a question ref an insert. To date still no contact from CS. Item nice quality, but expensive for what it is.

quality product

Have to agree with Mac. Quality of handle is top notch but position is difficult to use for adequate leverage. In my case, not too many options. Better than grabbing pillion foot peg bracket!

Not the Right Place

Mounted far too low to be of assistance. A better place for a handle would be around the area of the key cylinder for the seats. I am going to try and raise the handle on the same trellis bar....but the handle will not have the "stay" bar. The "stay" is mounted on the L passenger Peg bracket which prevents the handle from twisting on the trellis bar. New location will interfere with the side bag and might twist. Will try a bit of rubber for mounting.

GSA leverage not so great

Good quality part, easy install. Due to aluminum panniers lever position is not optimal, leverage is reduced requiring more effort to put bike on center stand than expected. Expected a better result for the cost.
