    Ergo Touring Windscreen, Medium

The ultimate long range touring screen with excellent aerodynamic properties. The whole design was aimed at providing the best possible protection for the rider. The effective, complex shape means adjustments are not needed. The air stream is effectively channeled away from the rider, who enjoys a turbulent-free and protected ride. The gap between screen and head lamp allows some air to enter behind the screen to reduce turbulence and negative pressure. Made of 5mm thick, scratch-resistant Lexan plastic in excellent quality. The screen is mounted on 4 points with strong steel brackets for a solid, vibration-free attachment. A substantial improvement of any "R". Sold complete with fitting kit. TUV approved.

Please Note: These shields fit all model years of the R1200R up to 2014.

We now feature these screens in a tinted design, under the related products.

    • Width at top of screen = 12 inches
    • Width at bottom of screen = 20.5 inches
    • Height = 18.5 inches

Very happy with the Touring Screen
Great quality screen, well packaged, quickly arrived and works like a charm. Been cruising all over town and the wind pressure on my chest is something of the past.

Reduced ar pressure, significantly increased noise
I bought the largest version of the Touring Windscreen to replace the BMW original "Sport windshield", which did not offer enough protection for shoulders and helmet. The Wunderlich windshield does reduce air pressure on chest and helmet, but the noise is greatly increased. I have a BMW system 6 helmet and never had any problem with noise with two BMW motorbikes. Only 15 km of ride at 80-120 km were sufficient to make my hears painful. Above 90km you cannot hear anymore the beautiful sound of the boxer engine, so loud is the wind noise generated by the windshield around the helmet. I'll try earplugs, but most likely go back to the original BMW windshield
