Flapper Eliminator

Many of the new bikes are outfitted with a flapper valve in the exhaust system. The flapper valve is a device that is intended to reduce noise emissions and it is also claimed that torque output is increased but our testing has shown that this is not necessarily the case. By installing our flapper eliminator, the valve is removed and the motor can breathe freely in all RPM ranges. Exhaust sound is increased but not to obnoxious levels. The engine will benefit from full performance potential throughout the entire RPM range, as with the sound. This part is intended for sport use only.

Low rating due to price. Over 80 bucks for a small piece of stainless pipe! Wish I would have thought about it longer due to being able to get one cut locally for 25$. Very fast shipping and courteous service though. For that cost it should have included the servo buddy.

You don't get the raised circumference center section as shown in the photo that would help precisely locate the amount of insertion at the header and silencer ends. Other than that it does the job.

It doesn’t have that center ring, but it looks even cleaner than the one pictured as a result. Quality section of stainless. Had the bike dyno’d after and while there was no peak power gain, there was quite the bump in the low end! Bike also sounds SIGNIFICANTLY better without the flapper.

I agree with the description, however I did get a power increase when installed with the Remus Headers, exhaust, and a Booster Plug. I do not know if the flapper eliminator had anything to do with the power increase, but I love the whole setup and if you are doing this, you might as well get rid of the flapper too.
