Fork Protectors, Black

Simple and quick to fit, these indestructible ABS protectors provide effective protection from stone chips and dirt. They attach to your fork sliders and shield the area of the fork that is most vulnerable to damage from stones and bugs and help prevent damage to the fork seals. Also available in "carbon look". See the Related Products.

Supplied as a pair complete with mounting kit, consisting of foam pads that are placed between the protectors and the fork sliders and cable ties to keep the secure.

No instructions were necessary. A small piece of tape held the rubber strips in place while the protectors were opened up and fit over the fork tubes and then secured with the included zip ties. Excess tie length snipped off with diagonal cutters and I was done! While not very tall, they do protect the part of the fork that sees the most travel. I fit one pair on my new Honda NC750X and they went on perfectly.

The fork leg protectors fit my Honda NC700X perfectly. I applied black silicone seal / adhesive under them before the zip ties. My bike has a longer suspension travel than the protection

There were no instructions but none were really needed. They're open in the back so just push in place and secure with the included rubber pad and tie-wrap. They should protect the bottom of the fork tube so that bugs won't be pulled in and damage the seal. I've put several hundred miles on the bike since installing and they haven't come loose.

Compre estos protectores para mi F650GS y asi evitar el desgaste prematuro en los retenes del amortiguador delantero (a causa de insectos u objetos incustados, inlusive tierra). Cumplen su funcion, pero la forma de sujetarlo empleando un precinto plastico da apariencia precaria al producto. Para mejorarlo deberia incluir en su dise�o alguna especie de sujetadores el�sticos con broches o botones asi de este modo la sujeci�n queda perfecta y profesional

I ordered these fork protectors but they came with no instructions. On the other hand they are very simple to put on your front forks. The problem is that the F800GS already has factory air deflectors which act as fork protectors. The Wunderlich ones are short and do not appear to be protecting anything. No matter how they are oriented, a large portion of the fork tube is "unprotected". Functionally, they are a waste of money.
