Our seats are manufactured with a characteristic, ergonomic 3D contour allowing the rider to integrate with the motorcycle fully. Our seats are stitched with our unique ThermoPro material, which allows the seat's surface temperature to be up to 25°C/77°F lower than conventional cover material in the summer heat.

The "buckling" of the cushioning is reliably prevented via our sophisticated construction. The sitting pressure is equally distributed over a large area, resulting in a noticeably lower specific pressure load to your behind. The ergonomic structure of our specialized, dense foam simultaneously relieves the pressure-sensitive coccyx, offering an ideal grip and reliable control when accelerating and braking. Additionally, our sweat-reducing, grippy cover material, integrated with "Cut" seams, is taped and welded for 100% tightness and retains its grip, even when wet. Furthermore, the stock mechanism can set versions in both the high and low positions. The innovative, ergonomic 3D contour also ensures that pressure points on the inner thighs while waiting at the lights are now a distant memory. Furthermore, when combined with our passenger seat, the seat's larger form also serves as a backrest for the rider.

I got the tall seat because my objective was to open up the riding position as much as possible. I'm 6'3" tall. I also got a set of lower pegs, risers, and freeway pegs. Combined, these all helped and made the riding position better. Anyway, the seat is very well made. It's pretty firm, but after a few hundred miles it feels better than the stock seat to me. And the main thing is that it doesn't keep sliding me up toward the tank. Feels like I'm sitting high on the bike and relatively flat, whereas the stock seat keeps pushing me forward. I gave it four out of five stars simply because the price is sort of outrageous. That being said, it's staying on my bike. I like it.

The seat is very good-looking and very high-quality. The fit is perfect, and it gives me a better purchase on the ground when I'm at a stop. The seat seems a little firmer than the stock seat, so I'll have to see how it feels on really long rides.

At Americade a few weeks ago i saw these seats on display. It was nice to be able to sit on them for a few. my first reaction was wow this seat is firm. This past week i put about 700 miles on this seat and WOW!!! The guy at the Wunderlich booth said it would take about 200-300 miles to break in he was right no more sliding into the tank, no more hot seat on a hot summer day. I could go on and on just buy the seat its worth it!!!!! Thanks Wunderlich!

The search is over! I had tried several different seats from various MFG's, and have made many returns. I have to admit, I was skeptical of this company's ability to make a decent seat. Especially since I've never (until recently) seen their seats on any bikes I was familiar with. As for all the other seats I've tried; I found them to have uncomfortable pressure either at my tail bone and/or my nuts were scrunched and sore during and at the end of the ride almost unbearable. Basically speaking the Wunderlich seat for my Pan America is hands down a keeper. It is by far the most comfortable seat of all the others I've tried. The comfort was noticeable just sitting on it the first time I installed it on the bike. I went on a 6 hour ride and thought I could just kick myself for doubting and not buying it from the start. Lets just say, this was the best long ride I've had on this bike. I could have gone further. Wunderlich got the formula right on this one. I bought the Standard or OE height seat. Note: The Wunderlich Standard height seat has the exact same shaped seat pan as the OE seat pan and will adjust from high/low exactly like the OE seat did.

The stock seat was a miserable piece of torture gear, especially compared to this one! No longer am I being slid into the tank with my pants wadded up in the crotch. Very firm seat but expertly fitted for long distance comfort.

I had been looking for a replacement seat since I bought the bike. While at the Barber Vintage Show, Wunderlich had a Pan Am on display with all their accessories that I was able to sit on and try before having to make a commitment. The first thing you notice is that the seat DOES NOT pitch you forward onto the tank like the stock seat. The seat is firm but not "Corbin" firm. I've had mine for about a week and have put a couple hundred miles on it. Big improvement over the stock seat.
