Wunderlich EVO1 Vario Footrest Set

The entire Vario footrest system is a great design offering outstanding versatility, in foot placement. With the 30mm adapter I was able to get much knee relief for my 36" legs and 6'5" frame. Unfortunately because of the lower pegs, the brake lever becomes too high, and this would also require the purchase of an adjustable rear brake lever as there is literally no adjustment with the 2018 BMW R1200 GS Adv. Although I was happy with the Vario pegs for street riding, off roading while standing did not inspire confidence that my feet would remain secure on the pegs. Even while wearing aggressively soled adventure boots. The surface of the footrests needs more bite. In the end I returned them and Wunderlich was wonderful to deal with giving me a full refund.

I have been looking for the right set of lowered foot rests for my 2019 F850 GSA and tried a couple of different ones. The EVO1 fit me the best and so far I am very happy with them. Since they are modular, it would be very nice if Wunderlich offered a couple different foot rest models, one for street, which I think these are and a wider more aggressive set for off road. I am 6'4" with a 36 inch inseam.
