    Description

    Wunderlich Touring Screen

    Available in: Tinted or Clear

A luxury touring screen for your R 1200 RT-LC: The original screen dimensions were enlarged in all directions to create a screen that really let you relax and makes long marathon tours into a breeze. You can ride long distances effortlessly, in a more relaxed manner and without pains or tension in the neck

The sides on a trailing edge help to minimize turbulence and provide even relief for the whole upper body, including the shoulders. Thanks to the optimal contoured design, it helps to keep the helmet area turbulence-free. Even taller riders will be protected very well and notice a difference riding at the highest speeds.

    The facts:

    • Optimal relief of head, upper body and shoulders.
    • Lower vacuum-accumulation.
    • Changed contour for turbulence-free protection in the helmet area.
    • Optically clear for optimal view.
    • Made of 5 mm-thick acrylic plastic.
    • Fracture- and scratch-resistant.
    • Dimensions (H): 700 mm.
    • ABE approved (no further registration needed).

Please note: Windscreen is colored black in the lower third.

*Installation estimated at 10 minutes for this part may vary depending on skill level.

black out graphics a fatal safety hazard on touring windscreen
    (Nc) | March 19th, 2016
total wind coverage looks good, mounts well, allows a view 100yds down the road just fine, but its fatal flaw is the added graphic black out pattern blocking view of impending road hazards, parking, automobiles, small children, dogs, debri, etc.
    This screen works well
    (Sauk Rapids, MN) | August 28th, 2015
This is the best screen I have tried so far in terms of wind protection and low amount of buffeting. A couple of caveats-the shape of the top section does distort the view more than I would like, and at full up, the reflection from the handlebar mounts is annoying. I like to look through the screen when I ride. Looking over the screen gives you a pretty good jet of air to the top of your helmet which is noisy. These are apparent trade-offs for the higher degree of wind protection. Riding at speed behind a big truck I noticed less buffeting and at high speeds it works well. I am about 5'10" and riding with it nearly all the way up seems best to overcome the distortion and the reflection issue goes away, but the blacked out section interferes with the up close line of sight. It looks better on the bike than I thought it would.
