Bag Reflector Set
The relatively small back light does not actually show the actual width of a BMW, especially when side cases are attached.
This tailor-made 3M film kit reflects the light shining on it which increases the signaling effect considerably. The actual width is immediately visible and the vehicle can be seen from a distance, increasing passive safety enormously. Simple to apply. Made-to-measure for Original BMW cases. The reflective material is black, and thus nearly invisible in daylight. At night however, lights from vehicles behind you brightly reflect.
Kit contains enough material for both bags. Clean the bag lids, peel and stick.

I received these as a gift and was excited to apply them to the rear of the side cases on my RT. The kit is nicely prepped and the instructions are easy to follow. So far I’ve only applied the 2 outer rear facing edges of the left and right cases. However, I’m a little disappointed in their reflective performance. They are nowhere near the performance of Klim’s or Revit’s carbon black 3M reflective strips. Yes, the material does reflect and provides a visual reference of the width of my motorcycle so that’s helpful. I do like the fact that they blend in very well during the day to the black plastic of the side cases. I was just expecting much better performance considering it’s a 3M product.
