I bought a 2020 R125RS recently knowing I needed to change the handle bars for a more upright riding position. Started with the Wunderlich handlebar conversion kit which made a nice difference then added the Ergo plus risers. I needed to reroute the clutch line as shown in the installation instructions and also loosened a wire tie on the brake line, but that was all. The bars are in a good position now. Very happy with the results.

Could not have been a better choice for my 2017 bmw R1200R 30" inseam and 6 foot tall just made for long reach. These risers changed the bike riding position dramatically for the better. Arrived on time as promised. Had the BMW pros ay high road install them though, they agreed with my choice of company and purchase. Had issues with support on other common riser brands and they even refused to verify fitment. These are the ones to get for this year...cheers!

I resisted bar risers for a long time but finally came to the realization that I'm not quite as young as I used to be. I'm glad I pulled the trigger on these because the bike is now not only more comfortable, but it is much easier to handle. Despite the bars being the same width as before, it seems that I have more leverage, thus making the bike easier to turn. I took a ride shortly after installing them and immediately noticed a difference. As to the risers themselves, they are a very nicely machined, like metal pieces of sculpture. If a Moto GP racer were to put bar risers on their race bike, these would be the ones they'd want. One downside to these, however: the Nav V is all but useless when these are installed and a tank bag is used. I purchased the Wunderlich adjustable Nav mount and now all is well.

Absolutely changes my comfort level while riding my R1200R. Prior to installing these risers I felt a bit unstable since I had to lean so far forward. Now I feel so much more stable and lots more comfortable.

The R1200R is a great bike, and handles much better than the big old adventure bike I owned before I got it. However, the slightly aggressive riding stance can get old after long distances. Being 6'1" tall, I don't really have any trouble reaching the stock handlebars, but it did make me squat down a little bit while doing so, which got uncomfortable after a bit. Also, my skinny rear likes being at the back of the seat, where my weight is more spread out. These risers did exactly the trick for me. They fit great, and while the package tells you that you need to re-route the clutch cable, I didn't really have to. All I did was remove a couple rubber cable ties and relocate them elsewhere, and it was fine. I did take the bike into the dealer after the fitting and had it verified that the cable tension was ok, even on full left- and right-lock of the handlebars. Handling hasn't gotten appreciably better or worse, but I do feel a little more like I'm riding "in" the bike, not "on" the bike, which increases my comfort while cornering, so I guess handling has kinda improved. All in all, a great buy, even though it does seem a little pricey.

My wife loves riding her 2015 BMW R1200R. However there were challenges she faced with regard to "the bike fitting her". She had the seat carved out by a saddle maker to lower her position and create a cantle 5 inches forward of the stock location, providing a stop right behind her. This solution helped however her forward leaning position in the seat was uncomfortable and contributed to fatigue. After extensive research I found the Ergo Plus Bar Riser and talked to a Wunderlich technical rep who provided excellent support which resulted in placing the order. The risers were shipped and received in time for the holiday then quickly and easily installed on her R12 on Christmas day. The bench marks on the stock handle bars enabled them to be accurately centered before tightening the bolts. There was concern the clutch cable would need to be adjusted but all it took was releasing the first nylon strap that supports the cable against the top of the frame. Summary: The Ergo Plus Bar Riser is an excellent solution for minor adjustments to raising and bring the handle bars back. The layout, design and color give this add-on a near factory look. It's the perfect solution for my wife and well worth the investment.
