We also manufacture our rider seats for sporting use that sit 1.5 cm higher than the standard seat height with the characteristic 3D contour that lets the rider and passenger become one with their BMW bike. These have proven their value perfectly in racing. The shape and angle of the carefully crafted, progressively structured, dual-layer seat core support the ergonomically beneficial, natural posture of the back and knee angle, particularly in sporting use. This level of integration results in perfectly relaxed and sporty active riding. And there's no doubt that relaxed sitting adds a serious plus to passive safety. For whatever reason, BMW doesn't care about your bum. Thankfully, Wunderlich does. This seat creates a cushion where I needed it most - right in the coccyx. Braking hard, sharp corners, lollygagging on the interstate, this seat knows where it needs to support you and it does it wonderfully. I have no complaints and my ride wouldn't be the same without it.

After almost 3yrs riding my S1000R and occasionally experiencing hip cramps & always butt burn after about 90min of saddle time, I opted to treat myself to this seat (and the lowered foot pegs). What a relief! One wouldn't think that a mere 1.5 - 2in of added seat height and relaxed hip angle would make such a difference. For me, at 6ft, it made a BIG difference. Highly recommended.

Short ride on new seat. Didn't think of factory seat anymore. Reminded me about the same Aktivkomfort seat I bought for the previous bike, 2022 R1250RS. Both worth change.
