This Wunderlich Windshield is the ultimate for touring comfort on your F650 GS or Dakar. It offers a very attractive appearance, matched only by exceptional functionality and intelligent design. The shield offers a very sturdy mounting system. The shape is the result many miles of testing and years of experience and it effectively directs air flow past the rider and passenger. A precisely calculated space between the shield and headlight covering allows just the right amount of air to pass through, equalizing air pressure and eliminating buffeting.

The shield mounts at six points and no modifications to the bike are needed for installation. The shield is made of 4mm thick Lexan.

There are two versions of this windshield: Low and High. This is the low version.

Low = 390mm (15")

Tall = 467mm (18")

Wunderlich suggests that the short shield works well for riders up to 6 feet tall (1.85 meters) and the tall shield for riders over 6 feet tall. This can vary based on torso and leg length and should be considered an approximate guide. The best way to determine which shield will be best for you is to consult the specification image that is provided in the comparison screenshot above. The measurements are taken from the center of the top bolt of the instrument housing, just above the warning lights. We suggest sitting on your bike, in your normal riding position and then envisioning where the top of the shield will be, based on the measurements we've provided. You should be able to see over the top of the shield and you should not be looking through it. Please call or e-mail us if you have any additional questions.
