This rear shock is optimized for the BMW HP2 Enduro and perfectly matched to further improve an already outstanding motorcycle. While innovative and perhaps good in concept, the original shock absorber unit lacks the adjustability, stability and control that a conventional shock absorber offers. Additionally, increased reliability is an important benefit of this shock. The air bellows of the original unit have been known to break and if that does happen, you are stuck where you happen to be because the rear suspension completely sacks out, making the bike unrideable.

There is simply no comparison between the Ohlins suspension and the stock suspension. The radical improvement will be immediately noticeable and your HP2 will become an even more capable machine under all conditions.
