Rear Brake Reservoir Protector

Protects the brake reservoir from getting torn off or tampered with. The reservoir is fitted in a very exposed position and is also only held in place by a single bolt. One moment of carelessness is enough to damage the reservoir or even rip it off.

Our strong protector covers the reservoir securely. It cannot be damaged or even ripped off, nor can the reservoir be tampered with (prevents the reservoir lid from being unscrewed).

This reservoir protector provides some protection and also enables the fluid level to be checked without removal of the protector. It mounts to the same screw as the reservoir, so I don't think it provides much protection... The reservoir is in a fairly protected location if you have crash bars and pannier racks.

The rear reservoir, as you know if you are reading this, on the GSW is rather exposed and held in place by a single fastener. It certainly looks like it could use some protection, but my guess is the reservoir is pretty tough. The cap is also completely accessible should someone want to do something mischievous. Hard-core off-roaders might have different or more serious concerns. I don't think either one of these alone would warrant this extra protection, but together I think they make this item a worthwhile investment. Installation is simple, it appears to do the job(s), and so, overall I am happy with the purchase.
