    I didn't think it needed protection really but the matte finish would take on droplets and be a major pain to clean. This thing is glossy and clear. So nice. It's ever so slightly smaller than the screen vertically so account for that. Only potential issue with it is blinding sun reflection but my body will block it. Great optical upgrade to a crappy fuzzy display.
