    Description

    Touring Screen, Tinted

Wunderich designer Nicolas Petit drew up a screen, exclusively for the nineT, connecting "old-school" elements with modern aerodynamic.

    The facts:

    • The screen shape provides excellent protection to the rider
    • A spoiler is discretely incorporated on the screen top.
    • Turbulence-free for arms, shoulder, upper body and head.
    • Adjustable in height and inclination.
    • Optically pure (clear view from all angles) and is made of 5 mm thick LEXAN.
    • Rounded, polished edges, no annoying edge protection.
    • Scratch-proof and break-proof.
    • Easy mounting.
    • Complete set with all mounting parts.
    • Smoke gray or transparent.
    • TÜV approved.
    • Height: 420 mm

A great screen from every point of view!

    Excellent windscreen but.
The screen provides excellent wind blocking. My only problem was with installation. Everything was straight forward until I got to picture E in the installation instructions. It shows the stock “sticks” coming off with the lower handlebar clamp. Mine did not. They stayed in the triple clamp and I was unable to get them out. I contacted Wunderlich in NC and the shop mechanic Eddie told me to heat the clamp around the stick. I used a propane torch and was still unable to get them out. I have a buddy who’s a MC mechanic come over and he said just leave the short ones in and he believed that there was enough torque once the top of the clamp was tightened it would hold the Base bracket in place. Well, it worked. One note, Eddie did tell me not to install the Base bracket without the provided longer sticks. I understand it’s important to CYA. But I did appreciate his courtesy and willingness to help solve the issue.

It was very easy to install this screen even with the Wunderlich risers and it looks super sharp and is effective on the road! Very satisfied.

Installation was smooth and the esthetics are good. I was worried that a screen would wreck the look of the bike, but this one does not. Highway speeds were very tiring, so I had to try something. I rode it this morning for the first time and what a difference! 80 mph was a real pain before and today it was comfortable. This is a winner.

    good product
Looks great, as one would expect from this brand. Price is inline with other options and this is overall better choice, IMHO. Installation is very simple, but be ready to remove handle-bars, so extra person would be helpful. Make sure to have soft towels to cover gas tank so no accidental scratching occurs. Performance is good. I never had bike with screen before, so I was not sure what to expect. For my hight (5'8") this screen (top) sits about level of bottom of closed visor on my full face helmet. It vibrates but no rattle on HWY speed, (around 75-80mph)
