TPS Cover, Black

The throttle sensor on the left is not exactly attractive. It is also at risk because it protrudes so far that even with light impacts (e.g. from your boot) it can be seriously damaged. With this robust and light aluminum cover, the unattractive sensor is out of view, the intake pipe is integrated into one unit and both the sensitive throttle sensor and the connections are well protected.

Everything needed for installation is included.

Please Note: Not compatible with BMW aluminum valve cover protectors on 2010 and later model R1200 GS and Adventure models. Without the valve cover protectors it will fit and it is compatible with the valve cover protectors on models up to and including 2009.

BMW Should Have Included This as Standard Equipment

My wife and I found out she needed this on her bike when she accidentally knocked the connector loose on the Blue Ridge Parkway about 60 miles from the nearest dealer. We thought our trip was over until she realized what she'd done. I told her I'd make a guard when we got home, however, with me having the fabrication skills of a a drunken chimpanzee but being a Wunderlich junkee, I found this little gem. It's super high quality, I installed it in a few minutes, and it looks great on the bike. Get one and solve a problem before it becomes one.

Keeps you from kicking off the wire on the side of the bike! In black it looks great with the bike, the silver looks a little more like a 1970 Star Trek prop. Really easy to install, but put in some blue loc-tite to make sure it holds.

Improve the looks and protects the exposed TPS, easy installation no need to bend anything on my 2013 R1200R, just follow instructions and in a couple of minutes you will be done.

Will not work if the aluminum is protecting the engine from BMW (R1200R 2012). You will need to be bent.
