Wunderlich Windscreen MARATHON PRO, For models with ACC

This MARATHON PRO screen is designed for models equipped with ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control). The front silhouette of the screen is shaped to ensure that the ACC radar is not obstructed.
The MARATHON PRO screen also retains all the proven product features of our standard MARATHON screens. Its sophisticated aerodynamics and the increased size of the front silhouette in both height and width offer even more protection and perfect ergonomics for riders of all sizes. This includes outstanding wind and weather protection, optimal wind pressure relief for the head, upper body and shoulders, along with noticeably reduced turbulence. The integrated backflow on the rider-facing side of the screen creates a soothing counter-current to calm turbulence. This airflow can be adjusted by changing the screen’s height – which regulates the volume of air passing through.
As a rider, you’ll enjoy superior long-distance comfort in all weather conditions. The effective protection and optimised ergonomics allow for relaxed riding – and that, in turn, enhances your active safety.

My bike came with the sport screen and rather than pay dealer pricing decided to go with Wunderliche (dealer has their poster hanging). Good fit and finish, needed more clearance at top for gps. Five minute install with T25 torx driver.

The Marathon Pro is just slightly larger than the OEM BMW “tall” screen (about 25mm higher and 50mm wider) but it makes a noticeable difference. Air in the cockpit area is calmer and with the screen raised, far less wind noise - this is likely also due to the curved profile, as opposed to the plank design of the factory screen. It’s still no RT, but better than stock. The blacked-out mask for the mounting area is a nice touch since it’s near impossible to clean in there.
One complaint: with the screen fully lowered, the mirror stalks hit. Easily solved by rotating them back several degrees, but this also compromises mirror adjustability as you can run short of “outward” movement. Depends on how you like your mirrors positioned…was not an issue for me.

I purchased the Marathon Windscreen Pro for my R1300GS and enjoy the difference from the stock one. The fit was perfect, the quality, thickness and protection is great. I am 6'1" 260 and sit a little tall in the saddle. I highly recommend this windscreen.
