Wunderlich Gear-Shift Extension Knurled/Offroad

We think the standard foot gear-shifter is too petite, too short and too thin in a diameter. You look for it again and again, but sometimes you hit it imprecisely and sadly your boot toe slipping is a given. Our aluminum, cylindrical gear-shift extension, which is a whole 20 mm longer than the original, is very easily pushed over the standard lever and is firmly clamped in place. This change not only makes switching gears noticeably easier, but more comfortable too. This means added operating reliability, especially in situations where it’s key. The moderate knurling around the circumference, combined with the larger diameter, protects motorcycle boots and noticeably improves grip during the shifting process.

Wunderlich's gear-shift extension was a helpful and much needed addition to the S1000XR. It is much easier to tap the shifter than before. I would occasionally miss tapping the tiny stock one which was an annoyance. Installation was easy and took about 15 minutes. Construction is sturdy and fastening to the stock pedal is very secure.

This slip on attachment has worked out very well. It slipped over the factory rubber without issue until I got to the very end and the rubber started to bunch up. The solution was to trim the rubber a bit and voila, perfect fit! I would purchase again!
