Handlebar Risers
Available
- Risers without Nav Bolts
- Riser with Nav Bolts
The almost invisible change with a big effect. Handle bar risers are a much needed option to change and improve riding and seating comfort. The increased height allows further adjustment with the tilt of the handlebars. For the R or RS models a raised handlebar is a particularly sensible investment, as the options for handlebar angle increase at the same time which in turn has a positive effect on rider posture. The bars are raised by 25 mm and brought slightly towards the rider. This riser has allowed every rider who has tried it to find a completely personal setting.
Details:

- More immediate feel for the ride
- Relaxed upright sitting position
- Individually machined of solid Dural aluminum (not cast)

perfect....just what I was looking for. Great quality

Having shorter arms, this was a great option to install on my 2016 R1200RS. Installation was simple, even with the optional Garmin navigation. As a precaution, I re-routed the hydraulic clutch line (via youtube example) and that was not difficult at all either. On a road-test to the local post office, the difference was immediately noticeable. The riding position was much more comfortable as my body position became more upright, which is exactly why I bought the risers. Glad to have bought it!

The risers are a great addition to the R1200R. I am 5'10"" with a 34" shirt arm length. The stock set-up required a forward lean that I didn't care for on the slab. With the risers installed I can now cruise comfortably upright with my hands at the outside of the bar. In twisties my grip goes inboard enabling the fabulous handling for which this bike doesn't get enough credit. Fortunately, I heeded the warning and had the risers installed by my dealer. While the cartoon-like instructions suggest re-routing the clutch line is a simple matter it is NOT. The tech, whom I respect, had to disconnect the line, replace some fluid and flush the system. The install cost more than the parts. I recommend the risers. Just don't think the installation is something you can do on your lunch break.
