This tank protection bar is not only reliably protecting the tank, it is also protecting the fairing and the high vulnerable radiator. Furthermore the R 1200 GS becomes a distinctive and individual look. The tank protection bar can be mounted both with our crash bar and with the original BMW crash bar, or with any other cylinder guard.

This is my second set of these upper bars. The first ones came with my bike and protected my radiator during recent off-road crash. Without them I would've probably be stuck in the middle of Kentucky woods. They took the force of the hard crash and bent, while protecting my plastic panels and left radiator. Just bought a replacement set and installed them myslelf within an hour.
